Carolyn Sue (White) Lobough

Carolyn Sue (White) Lobough born in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, October 4th, 1941, passed away February 19th, 2024, peacefully at home. Loving wife, mother, aunt and friend to many. Carolyn is survived by her children, Samantha (Griffin) Nickeas, Joseph Griffin and Mary Kate Lobough; and her grandchildren, Kelley (Bowles) Connors (Jack) and Mackenzie Nickeas.
Carolyn was an alumna of William Jewell College (Bachelor’s) and Southern Illinois University (Master’s). Member of Beta Sigma Omicron Sorority, Alpha Psi Chapter at William Jewell. Carolyn was a longtime Chicago area resident and retired to Branson in 2013. Carolyn will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. She will be interred at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO alongside her husband, John Patrick Lobough. Memorials have been planned to celebrate the life of Carolyn and her late husband, “Pat” for Sunday, February 25th, 2024 at the 12 Step House in Chicago and Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at the Ozarks Serenity Club in Branson, MO.
